Description

Interacting with NGC7806 and MCG+5-1-26.  All these galaxies are small, but I can see the curving shape of MCG+5-1-26 and curving extension of NGC7806 at the 3m mark.  At 10m, NGC7805 has a bright, round nucleus with a much fainter and slightly elongated halo.  It appears to be connected to one the shorter of two major arms of NGC7806 just above and to the right of it.  NGC7806 shows an oval core with a stellar nucleus in the center.  This is surrounded by two fairly tightly wound spiral arms.  The arm on the upper side streams away from the core while the other arm remains close to the core and curves around about halfway.  MCG+5-1-26 shows as smaller than the other two galaxies and very narrow.  Core is elongated but does not show a brighter nucleus.  Faint extensions from either end of the core give an arc shape to the galaxy.  The extension on the right side curves toward the long, streaming arm of NGC7806.

Note: SC labels MCG+5-1-26 as PGC 111 and gives magnitude at 16.80.
