Description

I have been very pleased with my Quark on the AP92mm.  But I wanted to try a full disk view/image.  I didn't really have another setup until I thought about the Baader I was using as a guide scope.  So, on Labor Day, I took a few moments to experiment.  It did give a full disk view in the 40mm eyepiece.  The 174MM chip covers about half of the solar disk.  This is a 3 frame vertical pano.  The Baader is just too challenging to use visually.  It has been wonderful as a set the focus and guide scope.  But there really is no fine focus adjustment and the back focus was challenging to find.  I will stick with my tried and true AP92mm combo, but it was good to experiment.

Two sets of video were captured for each frame.  One exposed for the chromosphere and the other for prominences.
