Description

The Black Eye Galaxy is a spiral galaxy in Coma Berenices. It is about 24 million light years away and has a black dust lane making it appear as a 'black eye'. One unusual trait is its inner area rotates counter to its outer core, likely due to collision with nearby galaxy.

The night I took this was during 1st quarter moon, so sky was fairly bright. I took about 55 exposures of 2 minutes along with darks, biases, and flats.
