Description

The Veil nebula molecular cloud complex is a supernova remnant located in the Cygnus constellation, formed by the NGC6960 (the Western Veil) know also by the common name "Witch's Broom" near the foreground star 52 Cygni, the NGC6992 (Eastern Veil) known commonly as the "Bat Nebula" and the Pickering's Triangle at the middle north center of the two. Also in the molecular cloud complex are the knots in a fainter patch of nebulosity NGC6974 and NGC6979. This is the kind of nebulosity rich in Alpha-Hydrogen and Oxygen III ionized by nearby stars.
