My plan was to image and process this area of Cepheus/Cassiopeia in less than two weeks. While I was able to capture all the data in three consecutive nights and preprocess the data in Pixinsight on the fourth night, I then caught COVID, got busy at work, took up planetary imaging, went to a star party, holidays, and now almost 5 months later, I have finally finished processing the data.
While it seems like the new thing to do is tweak narrowband color palettes, I find it hard to stray too far from the traditional Hubble palette. My New Year's resolution is to try and make more creative choices going forward.
For the final image, I cropped about 22% from the full-size image (Revision B) to eliminate some dead "space" around the perimeter. I then reduced the size by 20% so I could save at full quality and still stay at a semi-reasonable file size.
