Description

I tried to shoot full night of Jupiter on 3rd of October. Seeing was quite bad and after I went to sleep (after 2 hours of shooting) things (seeing) started to deteriorate a lot, so instead of 8 hours of nice video, I got 3 hours of mediocre video - of the boring side of Jupiter (no GRS, no moons)

But on the other side it's always nice to see this giant rotate

I setup planetary image train after a long time of having DSO train, so it was quite some things different. Unfortunately nights are not best right now but I was happy to have 7.5 hours of correct guiding in FireCapture, 140 fps per second acquisition and no bigger issues with equipment for full this time (meridian flip had some offset that put Jupiter out of my ROI but was still visible in full asi224mc field of view, which is much better than I expected TBH).

My acquisiton was set up to shoot 120s (2ms acquisitions, framerate 140fps), 180s delay (so to get 12 images each hour) from 21:16 (2.10.2023) to 5:30 (3.10.2023) UTC times.
