Description

The Deer Lick Group of galaxies, dominated by NGC 7331, and is in the constellation Pegasus. This group is a visual group, as these galaxies are only apparently close to each other. In reality, they are too far appart to interact gravitationally.

This image is the result of about 4 hours of RGB+Ha data captured from my city skies in Richardson, TX and about 1.75 hours of luminance data captured from the Texas Astronomical Society dark site in southern Oklahoma.
