Description

The Sculptor Galaxy.  A bright, odd looking galaxy with lots of Ha nebula inside.
I thought I had done this before, but realised it was just a basic picture from 3hrs of data, so decided to go much deeper this time.
It is quite a bright galaxy, so relatively easy to image with a long focal length, and a lot of detail in the dust if you have the reach.

Captured over two weeks, 25hrs of images, from two different locations.  The moon was out for much of it, but I captured the Lum data from Bortle 2-3 skies with a new moon.
I made the hydrogen pop by using Continuum Subtraction, which I think works quite well in this case.
