I first became involved in astronomy in 1997. It was really only visual back then although I took many images with my 35mm film camera. Kids, family and work kind of took over and only would get my scope out once every year or so. I got back into this amazing hobby in early 2023. Wow, what a difference technology has made! I have now deforked my Celestron C8 and mounted on a SW HEQ5 Pro. Have also added a SW Evostar 100ED and WO GT71ii. Learning PixInsight processing slowly and having a great time.
