Description

Over a couple nights, actually very early mornings, I was able to collect 3 hours of OIII to add to the Ha on this target; here's the resulting HOO. I mix the two masters in specific ratios for each channel [RGB]. I'm particularly happy with how nicely the OIII shows up.

This image uses about 25% of the FOV. When I was running these scopes in the past I had ASI183MM Pros capturing the data. The current image is just a little bigger than what the 183 FOV would deliver. I'm using the 2600MM Pro cameras/filters/EFW/CTA combinations from two of the Borg 55s. This accomplishes two things: [1] I just spin these off the 55s and spin them on the 132 reducer/flatteners, and [2] I think the 2600MMs are a superior camera so I am getting better image quality. In any event, this procedure/configuration allows me to swap rigs in the Beevo Dome without too much hassle as long as I record details about positions of the various elements [counterweights, aimers, guider setup, D-bars, etc].
