Description

- The mosaic is composed of 2 panels with an integration of 7 hours each. I have made the Hubble Palette from a SHO image.

 - The emission nebula IC1805 is a mixture of ionised interstellar gas, hence its characteristic brightness. It is also intermingled with dark clouds of dust for nearly 300 light-years about 7500 light-years away from us, in the Perseus spiral arm of our galaxy.

 - Near the centre of this "cosmic heart" are the hot, massive stars of a star cluster known as Melotte 15, which is about 1.5 million years old. This cluster created in the "heart" of the nebula contains some bright stars about 50 times the mass of our Sun and is the main source of ionisation in the nebula. With its light and strong stellar winds it erodes several dust pillars.

 - It is located in the constellation Cassiopeia next to another nebula curiously enough, the Alma Nebula.

I hope you like it and I welcome constructive criticism.
