Description

My first image with a mono camera!
I've been sick the last few days so I finally had time to process my data. This image was quite long in the making, as I started taking images back in May, but I'm happy to finally call it done.
Mono data is so clean to work with, and I can't wait to do more, especially broadband stuff!

The North America Nebula is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, approximately 2600 light-years away from us. It received its nickname from its shape resembling the continent of North America, complete with a Gulf of Mexico. This image is a close-up of one of the structures within the nebula, the so-called "Cygnus Wall".
