Description

Hi my friends,

I used to help some astronomers with the processing of their images. I have to share this one with you. It was taken by my friend Nathanaël Berger with a 250mm Newton that he made himself. The mirror, the tube, and the mount. Here is his seup :

T250.jpg

He made this image with an ASI 533 MM at the peak of Châteaurenard in France (altitude 2900m), with his newton 245/2972 (paracorr2 + powermate x2)

I processed the data with two stacks for the luminance. One of 4.4 hours and a second of 1h30 for the finesse of the stars. The RGB was processed normaly.

The central double star is clearly visible. That's rare with a 250.

You should have a look at the Full resolution. But if not, here is a crop :

Hope you will like this one.
