Description

In the wee hours this morning, I imaged M1 in Taurus with my C9.25 f6.3 533MC setup using an L-Extreme filter.  Conditions were not ideal... transparency was poor, seeing was bad, the moon was rising etc.  Guiding problems as usual, and I slept through most of the imaging run and couldn't adjust anything.  I kept about half the subs I took and stacked them.  I had to use APP as Siril wanted nothing to do with them  But anyway, this nebula has always looked like a white fluffy cotton ball in my prior attempts.  Using the L-Extreme filter I finally see some filamentary detail in the nebula.  Not great, but for the conditions, I'll take the result. Rick
