Tonight was not about photos, but about learning my equipment. I used SharpCap for polar alignment for the first time, used CPWI in the field for the first time, trained the PEC on my mount, experimented with gain and brightness, and took only a couple of photos.

It was freezing cold (about -5°C). I went inside to warm up while the telescope was imaging, but when I came back out the computer had rebooted and CPWI had lost star alignment. I have decided to purchase a StarSense to make star alignment faster.
