Description

I have very limited viewing conditions from the balcony where I spend the working week. M5 is one of the target that I can track all night :-). I am still improving my practice with 300s exposures - an error in that case as I burned some stars at the core -, tracking - I got some good repetitive results around 0.5 RMS with my AM5 and PHD2 with predictive algorithm as I have a rather "classic" periodic error curve - and processing with separate preprocessing of RGB channels from my OSC and extraction of the luminance to improve the combination of colours and details and drizzling to improve details of my undersampled setup. What I try to get with this very classic globular cluster is the same visual feeling as I get with my big 22' dobson, with very small resolved stars. It is not so easy with 90mm compared to 22 inches ;-) but blurXtermintor is helping me to get closer.
