Description

Captured 2 panels this year, 2023, and 2 panel in 2021, both used same camera, ASI2600MC and L-Extreme filter but different telescopes and mounts

This is a Foraxx combined Bi-Colour from the extracted Ha(Red) and combined Green and Blue channels for Oiii

The Cygnus Loop (radio source W78, or Sharpless 103) is a large supernova remnant (SNR) in the constellation Cygnus, an emission nebula measuring nearly 3° across.
The complex is currently calculated to be 2,670 light years from earth. This new distance, surprisingly close to the value estimated some 60 years ago by Minkowski, means the Cygnus Loop is 120 light years in diameter and has an age of around 20,000 years.
