Description

Shot this with my GT81 and then with the FLT132.  Just getting back to this data as the 132 was a higher res of course and took priority.  Needless to say, I was quite happy with the results.

Compare it to my 132 here:

About the target:The Leo Triplet, also known as the M66 Group, is a small group of galaxies located about 35 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.  The galaxies within the Leo Triplet are relatively close to each other compared to their distance from Earth. This proximity allows them to gravitationally interact, triggering star formation within each other.  NGC 3628, is an edge-on spiral, nicknamed the "Hamburger Galaxy" due to its fast-food appearance.  Despite their immense distance, the Leo Triplet is one of the closest groups of galaxies to Earth.M65 and M66 were first spotted by Charles Messier in 1780.NGC 3628 was discovered in 1784 by William Herschel, a German-born British astronomer.
