Lunt 100

May 11th, the day the Aurora Borealis visited the entire planet thanks to AR 3664.
And then there was the other side of the Sun with little fanfare from AR 3674 and its companions.

This image was taken the same day showing solar features from the opposite side of our Sun (see Revision D - Sunspot Map). Initially, I didn't expect much from this area while gathering the surface data, but I quickly realized the bounty of highlights while processing the image. Included are spicles, a filament, the sunspot, plage, a prominence and flares.
