Description

Hello again friends,

Here is another very short exposure image of the May 10 Auroral storm.   It appears to show a purple and green rays showering and slanting down upon the setting moon.

Location was Sandilands park, Bortle 3 or so.

This was one of the top 2 or top 3 aurora storms that I have ever seen. This one was continuous from sunset to about 12:15 am. Bottom of this image is the moon, being showered with light from the aurora.

There was no way we could do our routine deep sky imaging with all of these fireworks, ha ha.

Thanks for looking!

The moon is overexposed, lol.
