Description

Although very clear last night, it was also very windy, and I think the upper atmosphere was turbulent, so I was having a heck of a time getting good focus.  At 2032mm, it is always tough, and I am on a tripod, so you are only so stable.  But overall with my first attempt at the area of galaxies, I am happy.  NGC 3718 is around 46 million LYs away, and the small galaxy cluster at the bottom is about 400 million LYs away...that is amazing!  I am going to go with my FR tonight, back to 1450mm and try this target again.  So much happening here!  Clear Skies!
Mark
