Description

This is a high resolution animation of Jupiter with the rising Io in the night to 30th September 2023.
The animation starts at 00:03 UT and ends at 1:35 UT (93 minutes).
Many interesting details are visible, especially in the northern hemisphere.

I recommend enjoying the animation in full screen mode.

Celestron SC C14 and Televue Powermate 2x, PlayerOne Mars-C and Baader UV/IR-Cut,
93x 30 sec, 70% of the frames stacked with AutoStakkert!3, derotated with WinJupos.
Animated with fantamorph5. Live color calibration on Planet. Good seeing.

Since there were a few questions about my workflow, here is a short description:
1. Capture 220 SER movies, each 30 seconds long (23:53 to 1:45 UT) with FireCapture
2. stacking each movie with AutoStakkert3
3. light wavelet sharpening all 220 (summary) images with RegixStax6
4. select poor quality images (50 pieces) and use the 170 good images
5. Selection and derotation of 20 temporally related images into a sum image at a fixed central point in time every minute (here 93 times)
6. Resharpen all 93 images
7. Creating an animation with FantaMorph with 2 morphed intermediate images each to form a film with a total of 554 frames
