Description

NGC 281 also known as The Packman Nebula is an emission nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It also contains an open cluster of stars. It is noted for its Bok Globules located at the center. These Globules are the first sign of star formation. The Packman nebula is approximately 9,000 Light Years from Earth.
