Description

Here are a couple Sharpless objects in Cygnus shown in Ha and HOO. I imaged these back in 2020 with a pair of WO Star 71/ASI 1600 MM image trains. So this FOV is smaller. There is beautiful Ha structure out of the field on the left , hardly surprising for Cygnus; it is worth an image all its own, which may go on the list. Anyway, better equipment and processing this time. This is the full field of the WO FLT 132s/ASI 2600MM Pros minus minimal edge cropping; the Optec Libra aimers allow for almost exact matching of the two scopes' FOVs. The Moon is now past 1st quarter, so I may wait to gather OIII and possibly SII. Maybe time for Ha of the above mentioned area to the left of the FOV.

Ha Image:
[24] 600s guided Ha subs
total integration: 4 hours

HOO Image:
[24] 600s guided Ha subs
[24] 60018guided OIII subs
total integration: 7 hours

each scope/image train has the following:
capture:
William Optics FLT 132 APO with 0.8x flattener/reducer, runs at f/5.6 w/ effective focal length of 740mm
ASI 2600MM Pro
Gerd Neumann Camera Tilt Adjuster
ZWO EFW
Chroma 3nm narrowband filters
MicroTouch focus motor
Optec Libra Alt-Az Adjustment Base

guiding:
William Optics 50x200 Guidescope
ASI 290MM Mini
