Description

I am getting closer to optimising tilt and backfocus on the RASA, but still waiting for an adapter for the QHY 294M. I really like this image, it is very deep for the short integration time. The wavelength-shift of the fast optics actually helped not to saturate the stars too quickly. Still, I have faster filters coming.

The heart nebula is a H-II-region in Cassiopeia at a distance of about 7500 light years. The star cluster at its center, IC1805, is supplying the energy for its emission. This nebula is one of my favourite objects because of the many detailed structures within it.
