Description

Since strong wind and haze prohibited the employment of the Celestron C8 for close up images, the Sammy 135mm lens was put to work again. Oh ya poor lad!

In spite of the sky's rudeness, the one-hour exposure does not look that bad. Starnet++ helped emphasize the Ghost of Cassiopeia, Caldwell 63, right underneath the star Navi and the nebulae on the image in revison B. The lens was wide open at f2. No NB filters, no calibration.

Revision B shows IC410 and IC405 in Auriga. Clouds terminated the session after 17 exposures, therefore no separate upload to show off with. 17 x 75sec, ISO800, lens at f2.

Revision C simulates the visual sky quality with an all-sky lens.

Question please,
Does anybody who imaged the same region know whether the bright "cloud" in the image center is real star/nebula stuff or just light pollution/artifact?
