Description

Latest in series of M82 imaged with different filters. This one is an IR pass filter. I was hoping to catch more of the IR emissions, but the color effect is cool. Captured, aligned and processed in Sharp cap, Exposure adjusted and cropped in Mac Preview before uploading. Some rotation artifacts creeping in at edge of image, since iI was using the ASI224, with a very small sensor, the image was 50% of the diameter of the FOV. Was able to track for 34 minutes using the GOTO, augmented by RIF, until rotation appeared to hinder further alignment by SharpCap. Pretty happy with this for first time using an IR pass filter.
