New to Astrobin and still getting it figured out, so please pardon any stumbles with this post.  But the host asked for comments on how images in this group were processed, so here is a brief comment on my  image "Tulip Sh2-Crescent NGC6888" that I recently posted to this group.

I've used the "Colorized" approach presented by Steve in "Entering into Space" on YouTube, especially in his "Processing the Pillars of Creation" video.

Steve stretches the S,H, & O integrations first, then uses Curves Transformations to add the Red, Gold, & Blue colors.  This avoids the strong green color from the usual color combination adding the Ha to the Green channel and then having to take out the green with SCNR, which can also bleed "pop" from the image.

So, the colors are not quite the same as with other Hubble Palette combinations (I'd previously used AstroPixel Processor), but the result can be pleasing.

The Crescent just went wild with Oiii and I could not  coax any Ha into it, even though there was some in the Ha integration.
