I recently added a new lens to the database when uploading my latest photo: https://www.astrobin.com/prxd01/B/?_ga=2.130068167.934425971.1704395609-902289561.1701549131 Link to the lens: https://app.astrobin.com/equipment/explorer/telescope/42935/astrhori-12mm-f28 Others have said that they receive a 404 error when trying to click the second link which is why I included the image itself where the lens at least is listed. I noticed that it's still under approval, is there something an admin have to do regarding new equipment or is this all managed by the community? If it's up to the community I wonder if something has been done wrong by me, as those I have asked are unable to approve it. |

Hi Jan, my apologies. I admin these but I'm awfully behind because there's so many of them and some instances are hard to evaluate. I just approved yours and I will add to my list to fix the 404: unapproved items should not be able to be added to images by other users because this would result in a mess in the long run, but there's no reason why they shouldn't be visible. In the past I received a monumental and very-much-appreciated amount of help by @matthew.maclean, @Gernot Schreider, @David Stevenson @Marzo Varea, as moderators, but I do understand that this is an endless and daunting job to ask volunteers, so I'm trying my best to manage it myself in addition to everything else  Thanks for understanding!
