Something that is bothering me a bit is that we can't add acquisition details for certain types of images. I personally prefer to have my images sorted from acquisition date and that automatically excludes certain images (Northern lights, equipment etc). Which means that they won't appear unless I change the sorting, this also goes for anyone else visiting a profile. There won't necessarily be a relevance for ISO, exposure length etc on every kind of image, I get that, but the ability to add at least a capture date would sort out this issue. Is this doable?

I've tried looking around the forum for similar posts, I do remember discussing this regarding equipment images at some point but I couldn't find the post right now. So there's definetly other people around who might want this as well.

Hi, I myself have been confused by what happened with the inputs for flats, bias, darks, ISO/gain, etc.  I missed a memo!  How do we add that stuff like in ye olden days of astrobin?

Hi,
this is for historical reasons, but I think it can be fixed now since I redid the acquisition sessions form last year.

I'll add this to my list.

Thanks!

Hi,

sorry, I forgot to update you, but this has been available for a couple of weeks now. Now all image types except "Gear" and "Other" support acquisition sessions.
