| One thing that occurred to me is that on my 'scope, there is a thumbscrew that can be tightened to lock the (manual) focus. I generally don't touch that because if it gets tightened it will defeat the EAF. Worth checking. |

Hi all, Yes this is exactly what has happened to me as well. Around the same date. Retried last night to get it going. Now I'm on the forums to see if any one has also had the same problem and it seems it has been. Worked fine, no changes and now takes a photo (as in you hear the camera do its job) but fails to display in little box in top left of autofocus screen. then displays a message failed to find a suitable star. Stars look fin in all other shooting areas in ASIair software. Grurrrrrr Colin |

Dear friends! I have fixed the problem with '' EAF autofocus not working"'! I Have simply uninstalled ZWO ASI Studio softwear & installed back the older version (from april 2024).Outofocus started working! Several days ago I recieved the the new apdated version of ASI Studio. They have written in comments that in a new version '"is fixed EAF autofocus problems wich apeared in some cases! Thank you all for your best intension to help! |
