I can't find the "Toolbox" dropdown menu anymore under scripts. It seems to have disappeared after a recent update. Am I missing something or did something change?

I have actually the same problem
Didn't have time yet to update to the last revision of PixInsight, but I guess i will have to install from scratch to fix the issue

thats unfortunately a known issue. When this happens pls. do the following:
1) Open SCRIPT
2) Click on Feature Scripts
3) Click on Add
4) Navigate to where the scripts folder is located (PixInsight/src/scripts)
5) Click on the scripts folder and then click the Select Folder button.
6) After additional scripts are found, click OK. Then click on Done.
7) The Toolbox should now be visible when SCRIPT is opened.

GraXpert AI is a pretty cool thing! Thanks a lot. GraXpert AI with the PI toolbox is even better but has one major drawback: It would be extremely valuable
if not only the corrected image would be fed back but also the background model. Inspecting the background model is a key task for DBE and ABE, and should also be so for GraXpert at least as a matter of good practice (including the background model in the output is probably more a task for the toolbox programmers).
Another observation w.r.t. GraXpert: it appears to me that the results are much less satisfactory for SHO type narrow band images, when applied after channel combination (probably the CNN is not sufficiently trained with that type of pseudo-color data). If you run it on individual mono images it works fine, but it takes out quite a bit of nebulosity when you feed a combined SHO color image. Smoothing helps but still is not sufficient.

thank you for your kind words. Yes, I agree fully to you.
We discuss the possibilities of expanding the script for at least this feature. The GraXpert developers and the script developer are both on discord and they are in dialog about it. But always consider, these guys are doing all this in their free time, for free :-)
Yes, GraXpert AI was not trained with NB Data. So it can´t handle those strange colors very well. So for now the workaround is, to use it on the individual channels. Maybe in the future we can improve things here as well.

When I try to download GraXpert, AVG sends it to Quarantine . It is also quite specific and tells me it is infected with Win64-Malware-gen. I have read about AVG coming up with a false reading about malware so I tried TotalAV anti malware software and it did not find any problem with GraXpert so that is encouraging. I had the same problem with AVG. As soon as tried to run GraXpert, AVG would put it in quarantine. Adding GraXpert as an "exception" in AVG worked to prevent this. However, if I move GraXpert to another directory or download a new version, I have to repeat "add exception" in AVG. I contacted the company about this and reported it as a false malware detection.

That's is comforting. I have also labelled it as a false positive and as TotalAV which is well respected did not complain about it I will install it. What got me was the specific malware it identified. there must be something about GraXpert that behaves the same way as that particular malware.

Wanted to try as a standalone on my windows 11. Did the download, this is what showed up.
Did the download twice, same thing shows up. As far as I know, nothing should be blocking the download.

Hi,
I followed the instructions in the video:
- Downloaded the windows executable
- Opened up the APP, selected AI as the method
- loaded an image
- asked to calculate the background and correct the image.
All worked well.
When I added the URL to the repository list and checked for updates it told me there were no updates found:
The tool is not installed when checking the scripts Toolbox:
I'm a very recent PI user so I have no clue what is wrong here. I did add other scripts already and that went well. I'm usinng the latest version of PI:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Followed your instructions - AGAIN - and these errors persist. Tensorflow and AI don't appear to work according to your error messages.
How do I provide the "-ai_version" argument? I turned it on as per your instruction video. How do I fix all this mess about tensorflow? It's current as far as I know and works with all the other products. Appreciate any help in getting this thing working as it's designed to. Cheers!

don´t need to worry about this, its meaningless. Make sure, that you once opened an image in the standalone version of GraXpert and use the AI Tool to remove the Gradient. From that moment on it will work in PI as well, even if you get any error messages.

Resetting the repo resources and restarting pixinsight brought back GraXpert. Problem solved.

Just wanted to confirm that if I have PI configured correctly the AI will automatically be processed in the GUI?
With Star Exterminator etc I can hear the GUI ‘whirring’ as it works away I don’t get this with Graxpert.

Thank you for this great software.
I have justed uploaded the last version. Ever since, the script in Pixinsight doesn't work anymore. Indeed, I have tried to update the path (via the wrench) to the software but unfortunately, given the format (msi), I can't proceed. Do you have any workaround ?
BTW, I tried to convert it to an exe format, but without any sucess.
