Alan, Thanks again for the reply. I don't use Nina I just use the ASI Air so I don't have as much flexibility with the focus routine as you might in Nina. Anyway your suggestion to check the log was is great idea. I'll have to go out to the scope for that but I did check one I had from a successful run with another scope and it confirms the cycle I noted above. Will be interesting to see what the failed run with the 135 mm shows! Thanks again Like
