Finally had decent seeing tonight and got to try out my Vixen PH extender on my new 10" F/5 Explore FirstLight Newt, it has a FL of 1260mm and with the 1.40x Barlow that becomes 1760mm (verified by PI). Great for going after small targets.

Hardware:
Scope - 10" F/5 Explore FirstLight Newtonian (Sold as a Dob but comes with rings and a dovetail)
Camera - ASI 1600MM Pro (139 gain)
Filters - ZWO LRGB 1.25"
Mount - EQ6-R Pro
ZWO OAG
Barlow 1.40x = Vixen PH extender

The PH Extender slides down the focuser tube, so you need at least a 2.5" focuser.  For now I'm using the 2.5" HEX focuser's clamp ring to hold the extender. It has a lip, so you can secure it without fear of tilt. Bringing it to a focus also pulls pulls the focuser tube up high enough that it's not obstructing the light path in the OTA.
