Sorry, this should have been posted under deep space processing! I started using the new Graxpert for stretching, background extraction and denoise and it’s fantastic. Also, after the image is completely processed you can unlink the image with a 10 percent stretch and it gives a SHO type look with lots of color. I don’t have Pixinsght and don’t really want to spend that much for it and all the plugins. I have a way to get great images using the free tools like Siril, Graxpert and Gimp. I posted a quick YouTube video called Graxpert 10 percent stretch trick. It’s a quick way to get a very different looking image. Has anyone else tried this? Before  After  |
