Whenever I get the opportunity, I've been enjoying helping Adam with the setup and preparation of his new 24" telescope for installation in Chile.  Adam hired Peter Mack of Astronomical Consultants in Tucson to assist in getting the telescope assembled and configured.  Working with Peter out of Peter's shop in Tucson, Adam has been doing a fantastic job of converting a crate of telescope parts into a working instrument.  Today Adam pointed me toward his new Blog on Patreon and I though that some of you folks around here might also enjoy reading about his adventures in bringing this old, brand new telescope to life.  You can find out how he got the scope and check it out more of the story here:

Adam is the Benjamin Button of astrophotography; he started with a 32” telescope. Now he’s moving to smaller sizes. 😉
It will be interesting to see the scope and what it will deliver. Masterpieces most likely.
