One of my first astrophotography images was the Horsehead nebula. I was only 4 months into the hobby and was really surprised that the final result was quite good. I couldn't stop staring it, it was not only beautiful, there was something else, some character, mystery, darkness... I decided to make a cinematic video, using some adobe effects, to try to describe without words what I felt.https://youtu.be/-_1...6ngxQ7_BpAIzDaVEquipment: Scope: Redcat 51 Mount: EQ6-r Pro Camera: ZWO ASI 294MC Auto Focuser: ZWO EAF Guide Scope: ZWO Mini Guide Scope Guide Camera: ZWO ASI 120MM mini Pegasus PowerBox Filter: Optolong UV-IRLocation: Coll de Boixols, near Coll de Nargo #Spain Bortle: 3 Altitude: 1329m Aquisition date: 11.01.2023 and 13.02.2023 Avg Temperature: 4°C Moon illumination: almost none during the sessions Wind: 2km/h Exposure: 92 x 180s = aprox. 4 hours 30 minutes |

Wow, one of the best Horseheads I've ever seen. The Flame is also very cool. Pretty certain I would get diarrhea if I ever acquire that type of data with my own telescope, just from sheer excitement. |
