Hi all,
I found this one very difficult to process and wonder I anyone can see any glaring deficiencies in my process.

https://www.astrobin.com/oa8n80/

Acquisition details in the picture link.

Processing Workflow:
Stacked in Pixinsight using WBPP (single RGB image output)
Dynamic Crop
DBE
Photometric Colour Calibration (I haven't yet moved to SPCC)
BXT (reduced Star Sharpening to 0.15)
Gentle stretch using ArcSinhStretch (no mask)
Iterative stretching with GHS (GAME masks increasing in size with each stretch)
Curves to up Chroma & Saturation
SCNR (60%) to reduce green
Tweaking using Histogram Transformation to reduce outer stars
MLT & UnsharpMask to sharpen
Done

Any suggestions appreciated...

You got the makings of a very good image here!

However its being sunk by a few things:
  • You clipped the background; its too black
  • The stars are a little too harsh and perhaps over sharpened.
  • There is a bit of green in there that I think you could get rid of with SCNR.

Before and after running SCNR on green.

Try increasing the halo of the stars with Blurxterminator, too. That's what Adam Block recommends in his tutorials. That may address SemiPro's critique, too.
