Yes yet another dumbbell, sorry The hydrogen signal is reasonably strong in my data set but the oxygen I have acquired is probably better - shame that it is less testurally interesting than the Ha. With all that there is not much opportunity to show lots of red, but many people are used to the nebula's red first ring. increasing red in this just makes it silly Is it a question of acquiring more Ha to balance the SNR of the Oiii, or can I / should I do something to keep the detail and the feeling of 3 dimensions, but change the colour cast of the core shell? Hello Paul, I am surely not the right expert to answer your question, but it's already a beautiful image :-) I looks more like an apple core in my 22 dobs than a butterfly but I miss the large extension you captured in your image, bravo. |
