After feedback from my previous attempt, I scrapped all the data and for the last 2 night captured 380 120s exposures.

Any suggestions before I make my first public post?

Please post.  Astrobin is a wonderful and supportive community.  The community has encouraged me all the way rom my first post three years ago.

And your in image is already miles better than my first one.  Get ready to set off on a wonderful journey.

The stars look good this time and I think overall it is a significant improvement.   Nice image!

How did you stretch the image?  If you have not used GHS in Pixinsight you might want to give it a try.  It is very useful for selectively stretching different areas of an image.  It can be difficult to use and about half the time I find some other method such as EZ softstretch gives a better result.   I think this video provides and good approach to using GHS, starting around 10:32.

I used EZ soft stretch and EZ HDR. I will watch that video and add another tool to my kit. Thanks for all the feedback. Even my wife is amazed with what we are producing this early on. In large part from the helps of others.

As you grow through this hobby, you will find that the EZ tools suite aren't that great.   Many recommend GHS, it's fine, but I go a much different route by widening auto-stf function a hair, then using curves to adjust it.

Regardless that's a great first image.    You should be proud of it.    My only critique is better background extraction.  It simply takes practice, and you will get it with time.  YouTube tutorials are great, but take them with a grain of salt, not everyone is an expert just because they have a YouTube channel.
