Description

Located 7,000 lightyears from Earth, NGC 7380 is an open cluster of stars in the constellation of Cepheus, and was discovered by Caroline Herschel in 1787. The surrounding emission nebulosity (Known as S142 in the Sharpless catalog), is better known as the Wizard Nebula. Processed using the Hubble palette.
