Description

Timelapse animation is created from 211 recordings between 15:32 and 16:26UT on June 23rd 2023. Each recording was 12 seconds long with a framerate of 80 (960 frames) and 3 seconds delay between each recording.

The recordings where obtained using a using a TS-Optics 102mm f/11 ED, Baader 35nm H-Alpha, DayStar Quark (Chromosphere model) and ZWO ASI 174mm camera in 2x2 bin mounted on a ZWO AM5 mount guided with Hinode SolarGuider.

The 200 frames from each recording was stacked in AutoStakkert!3 before they were aligned, sharpened and contrast stretched in ImPPG.

The animation was created in PIPP at 15fps effectively compressing the 54 minutes of duration down to just 14 seconds.
