Description

The time-lapse animation is created from 41 recordings between 07:14 and 07:30UT on September 2nd 2023. Each recording was 20 seconds long with a framerate of 136 (2720 frames) and 3 seconds delay between each recording. 

The recordings where obtained using a using an iStar Asteria TCR 204-12 R35, Baader Cool-Ceramic Safety Herschel Prism Photographic 2", Baader ND OD 0.9, Altair G-Band Solar Contrast Filter (430.3nm) 2nm 1.25", Coronado 2x Barlow (working at ~1.8x) and Player One Mars-M camera mounted on a ZWO AM5 and guided with Hinode SolarGuider.

The 200 frames from each recording was stacked in AutoStakkert!3 before they were aligned, sharpened and contrast stretched in ImPPG. 

The animation was created in PIPP at 12fps effectively compressing the 16 minutes of duration down to 3 seconds.
