Description

NGC 884 is one of the two open clusters that make up the Double Cluster of Perseus.

Compared to its "companion" NGC 869, it is more photogenic due to the presence in the field of some orange stars.

NGC 884 is 7600 light years away from us and has an estimated age of about 12.5 million years.
