Description

One of the most popular imaging targets, but one that I've never done before. So this winter I decided to try and use the 45 mins or so gap in time (and houses) I have to get some subs. Luckily we had a few clear nights in December and at the start of January that keep the sky reasonably similar, so captured the few subs I could each night when it goes between two rows of houses. And, the low part of the sky had much less yellow glow than usual. A warm up before the other targets that I've already processed.
I tried to show the core region a little, but it is the limit for me as I like the core to have some detail but still be bright, and I decided to stretch the data a little more than usual to bring out the ionized hydrogen emission lying in some of the dust, all broadband.
