Description

It's Flaming Star season! I've looked forward to doing this target since the day my QHY268m came in, and boy, did I not expect the gem I would find in the dust. Most people don't do 8 hours of Oiii on this target, but because I chose to, I was able to find something quite unique and spectacular around the central star, V* AE Aurigae. It took a fair bit of trial and error to make the Oiii structure pop!

Unfortunately, this discovery cannot be catalogued, as it is not an isolated object in the astronomical sense, but it is namable! I am still amazed that I was able to find something only 13 months into my career with this hobby. I've spent the last several days verifying this, so hopefully I haven't made a fool of myself!

Now.. Naming things is not my strongest skill... Especially anything important, so of course I took it seriously!
This was a bit harder to name as it's not a nebula or anything of the sorts, and it is primarily hot dust & Oiii. Space dust contains Boron, atomic element B, so why not "The Wave of Bees"!

Thank you @Marcel Drechsler for helping me figure out what I had on my hands, and Virtual (no account), for helping with processing!
