Description

This is my first photo of the Pelican Nebula. Wow, what a nebula it is indeed! I have captured my data directly from the city - on the terrace on the rooftop of the building that I live in.

I think I have had some great seeing as this is the most sharp and detailed photo that I have taken up to date. I really like this Nebula.

One can see a Pelican, a Rabbit or even a Pterodactyl.

On the upper right one can notice the bright red region which is said to host active star formation processes. Herbig-Haro 555 is clearly visible as well (the small elephant trunk region on the photo). It is said to be hiding a new star that is forming on top of the formation ejecting streams of material in the opposite directions.
