-------------------------------------
This was a very interesting journey.  Haze was the primary culprit, coming from our friends up north in Canada from wildfires.  Most of central Florida has been covered in this haze for about 4-5 days and nights.  The stars and moon are noticeably dimmer looking.  In addition, we have Mr. Moon, thus sticking with Ha only.  The chances of getting OIII and SII are minimal over the rest of this month.  Finally, the normal stuff, 99% humidity, random clouds, and heat, which is why this is imaged in -5 degrees only as the camera cannot reach -10 degrees this time of year.

The subject, Ced 214 (Sh2-171)- a fascinating emission nebula located in the constellation Cephus, around 2,740 light-years from Earth.   Despite the haze, I managed to get a decent image with a fair amount of detail being pulled out, not being distracted by color.  You can see the open cluster, NGC 7762, and many dark channels, not dissimilar to the Rosette nebula.  It almost has a cave-like look similar to Sh2-155 with lots of crevices and grooves.  The nebula is part of NGC7822, a young star-forming complex, similar to the famous Pillars of Creation.
