Description

Arp 297, in Bootes, is an interacting galaxy group, consisting of NGC 5752, NGC 5753, NGC 5754, NGC 5755. Along with NGC 2718 and UGC 12158. NGC 5754 is often considered a Milky Way-twin.  Note that, although in the same field of view, appearing relatively close to each other, NGC 5752/54 are 200 million light years distant, while NGC 5753/55 are 427 million light years away.

This was an experiment of imaging with a f/12.5 Maksutov-Cassegrain, without a reducer.
I would like to get more integration time on it, as 6.5 hours is much too little at f/12.5

Special thanks to Gary Imm, whose compendium led me to this interesting galaxy group.
