Description

The image is named by this way as it is a brick in different ways It is part of the NGC 7000's Wall. Also is a new brick in my personal wall of experience - taken with 254mm scope which is the biggest one I have used so far. It defines a new learning route - big reflecting scope contrasting with my experience mainly with refractors.

The image could be considered as first proper light (there was one session before but still considering if it worth to post the result) of my new RC10". It is just 5h integration with very unstable atmosphere, but I like the result

Such dramatic places with ionized H-II clouds are usually stellar nurseries and this area is not an exception. The cloud is shaped by the stellar winds of the already born young stars. In the image can be seen a good number of globules and pillars which hide the next generation of stars and brown dwarfs. The action is happening at ~1600 light years away from Earth.
